Load Optimized Inverse Composite Technology

„Load Optimized Inverse Composite Technology" (InverTec) is a collaborative research project funded by the Cornet Program of the European Commission. The following research institutions from Germany and Poland are working together in the project:

  • IWU – Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology

  • SLK - Technische Universität Chemnitz / Department of Lightweight Structures and Polymer Technology

  • WRUT - Wroclaw University of Science and Technology

The coordinating role of the project is carried out by the research association EFB (European Research Association for Sheet Metal Working). They are supported by CINNOMATECH (Cluster of Innovative Manufacturing Technologies) and 13 industrial companies in the user committee situated in Germany and Poland, most of them being SMEs.
